Govt. Senior Secondary School
Chaned is situated at a distance of about 15km from Chamba town at Chamba
Pathankot state highway. This school was established as primary School in 1951,
was upgraded to middle and High School respectively after few years. In 1997,
it became Senior Secondary School. This school is currently functioning under
new education policy(10+2+3 system).
This school is located at a very
peaceful place where well educated staff is fixed with ambitions to work for
all round development of the students. The school has honour of having three
streams of education namely Science, Commerce and Arts. It offers education in
both Medical & Non – Medical groups. The institution having well equipped
Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Information Technology Lab. This institution
focuses on all around development of the students and making them to cope up
with this competitive word. There are so many activities are arranged for the
students like sports, cultural, and many type of quiz and science fair so that
they can learn about their culture and society.
